The ucs ultrasonic sensors in a robust metal housing are mechanically compatible with the industry standard for opto-sensors. The sensor series has been updated and now features IO-Link 1.1.2 and Smart Sensor Profile. This means that the ultrasonic sensors can not only measure precise distances, but also transmit identification and status information. Limit values or switching points can be easily set via IO-Link, which significantly increases operating comfort.
