Ultrasonic sensors with analog output continuously measure the fill level of products on conveyor belts during filling processes in the food or pharmaceutical industry. The control system dynamically adjusts the product feed to ensure a consistent filling process:
- When the sensor detects minimum filling level, the feed rate will be increased.
- On the contrary, when the sensor detects a maximum filling level, the control unit will reduce the feed rate in order to prevent overflows.
