If the control input is pulled against +UB or -UB (UE < 0.1 x UB or UE > 0.9 x UB), then the dbk is deactivated; the switched output state before deactivation is frozen. The effect of the control input being triggered (0.3 x UB < UE < 0.7 x UB (IE ≤ 100 µs) or the control input being opened is for the dbk to start its measurements at a 6.5 ms response time (trigger mode).
The dbk continues to measure (free-run mode) at a 6.5 ms response time should it not again be deactivated. After 500 ms the response time in the free-run mode goes down to 24.5 ms and stays there.
