Vibration feeder

A vibratory conveyor (also known as a vibrating feeder) transports, doses or sorts small parts or bulk materials non-contact in automated processes. Ultrasonic sensors with an analogue output continuously measure the fill level inside the vibratory feeder. The control system dynamically adjusts the material feed:

  • If the sensor detects a level that is too low, the feed rate is increased.
  • Conversely, if the sensor detects a level that is too high, the control system reduces the product feed to ensure a consistent material flow.
