Sensor study: mobile battery-powered ultrasonic sensor

The latest Technology study „smart city sensor scs“ brings out the scs ultrasonic sensor with a measuring range up to 2 m. The scs is in a robust housing with a long-life battery. The study is equipped with a LoRaWAN  interface (Long Range Wide Area Network). The LoRaWAN network is specially developed for IoT applications (Internet of Things). With the network, digital data from hundreds of sensors can be exchanged with a transmission range of several kilometres – optimally for an own local network.

Fully customizable

The aim of the technology study is the market launch a new mobile ultrasonic sensor with a robust housing and an operating temperature of –25 to +70 °C for outdoor use and the agricultrual industry. Potential applications are in difficult-to-access environments, in logistics or for the intelligent control of smart applications in cities and municipalities.
