The nano ultrasonic sensors are now equipped with an IO-Link interface in version 1.1.2 and Smart Sensor Profile. The IO-Link interface transmits identification, status and diagnostic values in addition to the measured distances. Limit levels or switching points can be easily set with IO-Link.
With an overall length of only 55 mm including the connector, it is the shortest M12 ultrasonic sensor on the market. The housing design and mounting are compatible with many inductive and capacitive sensors. This makes it easier to switch to the nano, especially for critical applications.
