By using multiple ultrasonic sensors, three-dimensional measurements can be carried out on objects ranging from small boxes to large cartons. To do this, the sensors measure the height, width and depth of the objects without contact, making them ideally suited for use in automated sorting systems or logistics processes.
Depending on the object size and measuring range, there are three sensor families with different detection ranges to choose from:
- mic+ with M30 threaded sleeve: measuring range from 30 mm to 8 m for large cartons, pallets and transport boxes.
- pico+ with M18 threaded sleeve: measuring range from 20 mm to 1.3 m for parcels and small packaging units.
- zws in a miniature cubic housing: measuring range from 20 mm to 1 m for small boxes and packaging units.
