The hps+ ultrasonic sensors enable non-contact level measurement of liquids or bulk materials in tanks, even at overpressures of up to 6 bar. These pressure-resistant sensors measure levels ranging from a few millimetres up to 8 metres (depending on the pressure) and are therefore suitable for industrial processes in the chemical, pharmaceutical and food industries.
hps+ level sensors are available with two switching outputs for minimum/maximum control or with an analogue output (4–20 mA and 0–10 V) for continuous level monitoring. The housing, made of stainless steel or PVDF with a PTFE diaphragm, is designed for chemically aggressive media and offers high corrosion resistance.
